Finally, thanks Fling. I still play with your Halo Inf trainer.

Is it possible to add sabre(in general vehicle) invulnerability?

like many people that has already requested it, in a great segment of the mission long night of solace, you play while operating the vehicle sabre, on which the trainer becomes useless on that part since you can still get the vehicle destroyed like on a pretty raw run (even on heroic it’s pretty unfair), which is almost impossible to make it on the LASO playlist

if it’s not possible to make the vehicle indestructible, here are some alternatives you could make specifically for that mission:
Make AI not shoot
Make you invisible to AI

I’ve used every single trainer of MCC for a really long time, and this is pretty much the only request I can see that’s important and missing from the halo reach trainer. Everything else is perfect, so thanks for doing this for us Fling.

Sorry for double post, I just found out there’s a program called Assembly that let’s you modify specific maps for the campaign so I’m sharing my two cents for people that wants a solution for the LASO missions in Reach and doesn’t know about this. I’ve used them for both the long night of solace and new alexandria missions so you cannot die while operating the sabre and the falcon (basically the two missions that “bypass” the trainer and makes you vulnareble to deaths and perma deaths if you’re playing LASO).

Just download the program (https://github.com/XboxChaos/Assembly/releases), run the Assembly.exe and click “Open Content File”. Now search for the map from your Halo MCC installation folder you want to modify (Halo- The Master Chief Collection/Content/haloreach/maps). The map for long night of solace is called m45.map, and the map for new alexandria is called m52.map, click either of that. If you’re going for the m45 map, then we’ll change stuff for the sabre, and if you’re going for the m52 map, we’ll change stuff for the falcon.

At this point, make sure you’re already ingame (Anti-cheat disabled mode) and on the mission you want to test this.

After you selected the map, up there click on “Tags” tab (just beside the Header tab). There’s a bunch of stuff here, but don’t worry about it. Now find something called “hlmt” and click on it. Again, a lot of stuff will pop up, but now we’re going to choose either the object for sabre or falcon. If you want the sabre (exclusive for the m45.map), find something called “objects\vehicles\human\sabre\sabre” and click on it. If you want the falcon (exclusive for the m52.map), find something called “objects\vehicles\human\falcon\falcon” and click on it.

Since we want both of them to not go kaboom when they reach the damage limit, you will now do the same thing below for either of them. After you clicked on either object, a lot of information will now pop up on your right side of the software, we’re going to do some ticking and unticking on boxes called “Flags”.

1: Scroll down a bit until you find something called “Old Damage Info”. Now under the “Flags” section with several boxes, tick the box for “Cannot Die From Damage”.

2: Scroll down a bit again until you find the section called “Damage Sections”. Now, tick the box for “Cannot Die with Riders”.

3: Scroll down again until you find the section called “Damage Info”. You will now UNTICK the box “Dies With Riders”, and tick the “Cannot Die From Damage”.

4: Now for the last part, just below the Damage Info that you just did on the step above, there will be another “Damage Sections” for the body. You will UNTICK both “Takes Full Damage When Object Dies” and “Takes Full Damage When Object Destroyed”. Make sure they’re both left UNTICKED.

Now, to apply all these to the game, click on the button called “Poke” down there (make sure the game is running and you’re on the mission you just modified the map).

Go back to the game and have fun. You can also combine and use Fling’s trainer with these method to speed up the process, it won’t cause conflicts. If you want to know if it worked, I recommend going for the Legendary or LASO run, and when you’re on the part while operating vehicles, enable the “One Hit Kill” on Fling’s trainer, so you’ll know if your vehicle does not get destroyed after being spammed with covenant shooting.

And of course, if you don’t already know about this, you can also earn achievements and Spartan Points while running the “Anti-cheat disabled” version, it’ll basically boot up the normal version with Anti-cheat enabled where you can earn them. I’ve used this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqyawnmp8YE&list=LL&index=18&t=76s&ab_channel=Dropz) to the process and it works like a charm (you’ll know if it works for you if it shows that you can access all the online content as in the normal version with anti-cheat enabled).

There’s no risk of getting banned if you just stick with the campaign modes, just DO NOT access the multiplayer and firefight option while using these because it WILL get you banned. You have been warned.

Campaign gameplay on the other side will NEVER get you banned.

Cheers and have a blast destroying the LASO.
