Happen the same to me !!! To fix do these steps:
1- Open the trainer first
2- Open the game
3- Go back to the trainer and select the options you want. You will see that´s not gonna be errors.

I have steam version, but Stealth mode seems doesn’t work…
I can use this trainer together with another trainer (FutureXGame). This trainer isn’t compatible with steam version, it works with developer build. But two functions from FutureXGamer trainer works fine with steam version: stealth mode and Instant shocker ability.
