They do their intended effects, but even after disabling them, they continue to max out my reputation and erase my bounty. I tried starting the game without the trainer enabled, but they continued to affect my game.

    not entirely true. take Digimon Story Time Stranger for example. there was already a half decent Trainer on Wemod from another Mod Author, and Fling STILL made a standalone trainer for the game.

    so yes, Fling has, and will, make trainers for games even of a Wemod version already exists.

    the issue, is time. there are a LOT of games coming out all the time, and making Trainers is not a quick and easy process.it takes time and effort to track down the values that affect each function you wish to modify, and then you need to code those modifications.

    even using Cheat Engine to speed things up only alleviates 30% of the difficulty.

    so what they REALLY need, is patience. they also need to understand, that these mods require the creator to play the games in question in order to make things work. so obviously they are less likely to create trainers for games they are not interested in, or do not like.

    Dragon quest 1/2 for example is already done by Mrantifun. It’s on wemod. There won’t be a fling trainer.
